| German Shepherds are better chasing dogs than leaders when it comes to sleding. They will work hard and chase another team down but once they catch it they will pass and slow down. I found using Siberian leaders keeps them consistant. Sheperds offer alot of power up hills. German Shepherds either love it or hate it and remember a dog must love his work to excell. You can not push a gangline, they must love it or try another dog. |
